Pamela Felkins Murder Case Poll
The Faulkner News Investigative staff have been working on the Pamela Faye Felkins case since February 2009. This solvable case will have remain unresolved for 21 years on February 2nd, 2011 due to an apparent cover-up by a number of people.
Pamela Faye Felkins was kidnapped, tortured, sadistically raped and brutally murdered over a three-hour period on February 2nd and 3rd, 1990. She was a 32 year old mother of two at the time of this tragic event.
The case file is over three feet thick and has 38 reasons to indict which were presented to H.G. Foster, a previous 20th Judicial Prosecutor. There were at the time over 20 witnesses. Today, less than a dozen witnesses remain alive and some may no longer able to testify due to declining health.
There were two perpetrators. Suspected perpetrator #1, may have repeatedly bragged over the years, about his role in the kidnapping, rape and murder case and may still be living in Faulkner County Arkansas. A drawing exists in the master case file and in the files of at least two investigators, and another secure location The Faulkner News is unable to disclose at this time.
Suspected perpetrator #2, is reportedly still in an Arkansas prison serving time for the rape of his daughter.
The hypothesis on this case appears to be that the mother of one of the perpetrators asked her boyfriend a the time, a prominent local businessman, with powerful political connections to assist he in getting the case put into permanent limbo.
Our remote and local sequestered case files have the names of the players involved along with certain other evidence are secured in safe places waiting for authorities with courage to stand up for what is right to step forward and resolve this case. Our investigators have several thousand hours of work on this case and we are working on other cases as well.
Cody Hiland promised to handle the job correctly. Let us encourage him to get the Pam Felkins case resolved, no matter how much Karl Byrd resists his efforts.
The post election interviews with voters revealed some interesting facts. Voters who were going to vote for Jerry Roberts but voted in the end for Sheriff Karl Byrd, told us that they did so because he was connected with Cody Hiland.
None of them who took this interesting position knew that Karl Byrd could have sent the evidence in the Pamela Faye Felkins case to the crime lab. They think Cody Hiland will do the right thing regardless of Sheriff Byrd.
Here is hoping they are right.
